Jasmine Rowe prepares for World Championships in Qatar with hopes of securing a place in Paralympics

Jasmine Rowe, a 2014 graduate of Atlanta High School, began a quest to compete in the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016 shortly after graduating, and now has an automatic invite within her grasp.
Jasmine has bounced around from competition to competition with hopes of making the Paralympic squad, and her latest triumph gets her one step closer.

Lady Tigers fall to rival Atlanta

Linden-Kildare traveled just a few miles down Highway 59 on Sept. 1, to battle rival Atlanta at Atlanta High School.
The competition went back-and-forth between the two schools, but Atlanta won the match in four sets 25-20 in the first, 25-10 in the third and 25-21 in the fourth.

Bulldogs struggle, fall to Prairiland Patriots, 46-8

The Queen City Bulldogs traveled to Pattonville to take on the Prairiland Patriots last Friday night. 
The Bulldogs had a promising start to the game but were unable to keep their momentum before falling to Prairiland 46-8.

Tigers rush for 309 yards, falls to Ore City 38-21

Linden-Kildare was on the road for the second consecutive week as they traveled to Ore City to take on the Rebels.
The Tigers had eight different rushers combine for 309 rushing yards, but Ore City took advantage of three turnovers en route to a 38-21 victory over L-K.

Rabbits fall in slug-fest with Henderson Lions, 39-38

A battle between two class 4A powerhouses took place on Sept. 4, when Atlanta hosted Henderson at Atlanta Rabbit Stadium.
Both teams were ranked in the top 10 of their respective divisions, and the outcome was expected to be close as the Lions topped the Rabbs 39-38 in a slug-fest.

L-K volleyball battles area foes

Linden-Kildare’s volleyball squad traveled to Elysian Fields on Aug. 25, to battle the Lady Yellowjackets.
L-K battled throughout the match but fell to Elysian Fields in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-11.

Linden-Kildare falls to Shelbyville Dragons, 53-2

Linden-Kildare and new head coach Gary Schultz knew their first game of the season would be a tall order.
The Tigers faced a very good and properly ranked Shelbyville team coming off of a 9-2, 4-1 season a year ago.

Queen City shows fight but falls to Sabine, 40-24

The most wonderful time of the year was upon Queen City last Friday night as the boys in black hosted the Sabine Cardinals at Smith-Wall Stadium in Queen City.
It was an emotional opening as the Bulldogs made their entrance to the field carrying the number 75 jersey to honor the memory of the late Ty Ball.

Rabbs tame Lions, 55-7, in first game of season

Game time temps were warm but the action on the field got hot in a hurry as the Atlanta Rabbits blasted the New Boston Lions 55-7 in the season opener on Aug. 28, at Lions Stadium.

Linden-Kildare Lady Tigers open volleyball season

Linden-Kildare’s volleyball squad opened the season on Aug. 11, against one of the toughest teams in Northeast Texas.
 
Pleasant Grove
The Lady Tigers made the trip to Pleasant Grove to battle the Lady Hawks, but came out on the short end by scores of 25-12, 25-21 and 25-8.
