Atlanta’s varsity girls’ basketball team built on its playoff foundation by making the post-season for the second consecutive year, and winning the program’s first playoff game in more than a decade under third-year head coach Jarrick Farmer.
The Lady Rabbits had a balanced attack from both upper and underclassmen.
Freshman baller Keyona Easter was named Newcomer of the Year.
Seniors Kaydee Kelly and Teshuna Sheppard, along with sophomore Sheveonia Smith, were named to the All-District Team.
Juniors Brittany Collins and Kinsey Kelly, along with sophomore Gracie Smith, were selected as Honorable Mention players.
