Mae Luster Junior High track kids compete

Linden-Kildare seventh and eighth grade Lady Tigers turned in fine performances at the L-K Junior Tiger Relays on March 13.
The seventh grade team placed second overall with numerous participants placing in the top three for several events.
First place winners were Allie Smallwood - 100m Hurdles and 300m hurdles; Shantey Hawkins - 100m run; and Brianna Hoover - 2400m run.
Second place winners were -  ​Brianna Hoover, Sydney Hampton, Shantey Hawkins, Allie Smallwood - mile relay; Haleigh Bell - mile run and 800m run; Shantey Hawkins - 200m run and Brianna Hoover - 400m run.
Third place winners were - Allie Smallwood - long jump and triple jump and Sydney Hampton- 200m run.
The eighth grade Lady Tiger track team placed third overall. 
Kendall Wells placed first in the 300m hurdles.
Second place winners were - Isabella Lockhart - long jump; Angelyna Meggs - 800m run; Gracey Bryant - 100m run and Amaya Neal - 200m run.
Third place winners were - Shun Patterson - 100m run; Cierra White - triple jump; 400m relay: Shun Patterson, Kendall Wells, Amaya Neal, Isabella Lockhart; 800m relay: Angelyna Meggs, Isabella Lockhart, Amaya Neal, Cambree Kerr; and 1600m Relay: Cambree Kerr, Cierra White, Isabella Lockhart, Kendall Wells.
“These are just a few of our contestants that soared at the L-K Junior Relays,” Head Coach Carla Hines said. “We want to thank all of our coaches, staff and volunteers that helped make our meet a success.”
