Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in the Chapel at Reeder-Davis. Interment will follow at Floyd Hill Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Loretta Jean Whatley Gray, 61, of Linden, went to be with the Lord Saturday Jan. 25, 2014, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Odessa to Clyde and Evelyn Whatley. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Gray of Linden; one son, Wade Gray and wife Sharon of Linden; one daughter, Rebecca Gray of Linden; three brothers, Bill Whatley of Abilene, Bob Whatley of Linden and Mark Whatley of Linden; three sisters, Angie Pearl Boykin of Linden, Judy Boyette of Grosebeck and Lois Legg of Marshall Town, Iowa; two grandchildren, Chris Lambert and Amanda Jones; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Andrew D. Dawson, 87, of Chicago, Ill., died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, after fighting a long illness
He was born Oct. 1, 1926, to loving parents Andrew and Lula Mae Dawson, who preceded him in death. The family resided in Atlanta. He was the third eldest of seven children. After many years of service in the U. S. military, he was honorably discharged.
He relocated to Chicago and was employed and retired from the U. S. Postal Service after 34 years. He was married with four children, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Taylor Funeral Home in Chicago.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Taylor Funeral Home. Interment followed at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Illinois.

Eunice Wilbanks Spann, 99, of Atlanta, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 12, 1914, in Cass County to Judge and O’Dell Wilbanks. She was a member of Bethsaida “Y” Baptist Church and was a beautician for over 25 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed croqueting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lelon Spann; her parents; and three sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Myrel Butler and husband Joe of Atlanta; two sons, David Blakey and wife Jonell of Shreveport, La., and Wesley E. Blakey and wife Deanna of Shreveport; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
No visitation is scheduled.

He was born Feb. 2, 1957, in Texarkana to Richard H. and Betty Tuck. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sandra Tuck. 
He is survived by a brother, Charles Tuck and wife Linda of Naples; a sister, Vida Gerber and husband Ralph of Texarkana; nephew, Richard Tuck of Marietta; two nieces, Kelli Tuck of Marietta and Stacie Norton of Texarkana; four great-nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Hanner Funeral Service.
