Jerry Lynn Zylks, 72, of West Orange passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at his home.
He was born Aug. 18, 1941, in Atlanta to Sam G. Zylks and Katie Alexander Zylks. He lived in Orange for the last 35 years, but was previously of Atlanta. He worshipped as a member of the Orange Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. He will be remembered as a good husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed building things, hunting, being outdoors, and teasing those he loved. His love for his family was very dear and important to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous extended family members.

Judy Murray, 69, of Atlanta, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Minden, La., to C. A. and Cleo Slack. She was retired from the Atlanta Independent School District, was a member of Tanglewood Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Campbell.
She is survived by her husband, Julius Murray of Atlanta; two sons, Mark Murray and wife Jennifer of Benton, Ark., and Paul Murray and wife Nichole of Spanish Fort, Ala.; one brother, Buddy Slack of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Bonnie Riley of Panama City, Fla.; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, evening at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Hughes Springs First United Methodist Church. Interment followed at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Larry B. Wicks, 72, of Atlanta, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, in a Texarkana hospital surrounded by family.
He was born October 9, 1941, in Olla, La., to Howard and Gertrude Wicks. He was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He loved hunting, fishing and small engine repair.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Holt Wicks of Atlanta; a son, Stephen Wicks and wife Cherise of Atlanta; a daughter, Amy Tolleson and husband Ben of Queen City; a sister, Dwen Raney of McLeod; three grandchildren, Michael Wicks, Hannah Wicks and Drew Tolleson; and a number of other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
