Helen Gillespie Warren, 93, of Linden, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, in Pittsburg.
She was born Oct. 22, 1920, in Atlanta, to Bob and Dellie Gillespie. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church of Silsbee. She enjoyed cooking and reading.
Her husband, Jessie Warren; her parents, two brothers; and two sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Dean Warren and wife Chris of Linden and Rodney Warren and wife Katrina of Sarasota, Fla.; one sister, Inez Valdez of League City; four grandchildren, Mark Warren of Marshfield, Wis., Kyle Warren of Buna, Michael Warren of Corpus Christi and David Warren of Austin; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Hanner Funeral Service.

TOMMY WAYNE SULLIVAN

Tommy Wayne Sullivan, 68 of Rodessa, La., passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in Shreveport, La. He was born in Atlanta to Raymond and Nadine Sullivan on March 23, 1945. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church of Ravanna, Ark. He retired from Local 141 as a pipefitter and worked many years in the oilfield in the U.S. and overseas.
He loved his family and they were always in his thoughts. He loved playing his guitar and Willie Nelson. He lost his dog and best friend, Ripper, but will be missed by Lady Girl and Pickles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Nadine Sullivan; a daughter, Dawn Sullivan; a son, Tom Sullivan; sisters, Martha Miller, Joan Sullivan and Maxine Duke; and his brother, Ricky Sullivan.

Donna Lynn Thompson, 53, of Atlanta, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in Bloomburg.
She was born June 13, 1960, in Atlanta, to J. W. and Ruby Thompson. She was a homemaker, a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and she loved cats and working with arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by three brothers, William Thompson and wife Bonnie of Cleveland, Waylon Thompson and wife Nancy of Texarkana, Ark., and Wayne Thompson of Atlanta; five sisters, Barbara McGee of Queen City, Dorothy Thompson of Atlanta, Shirley Campbell of Tyler, Betty Donley and husband Tommy of Atlanta and Carolyn Elder and husband Shorty of Bloomburg; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Heritage Baptist Church in Jefferson with Bro. Gene Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery in Linden under the direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.

Keith Allen Seery, 32, of Linden, passed away Monday Jan. 6, 2014, in an Ohio hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1981, in Houston to Donald Seery and Toni Stukins Jones.
Survivors include his mother, Toni Jones of Avinger; one sister, Filisha Johnson of Brookville, Ohio; grandparents, John and Carol Stukins of Avinger, and Kenneth and Phyllis Root of Lewisburg, Ohio; two nephews, Brayden and Colton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Todd Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

KEVIN WHITECOTTON

Kevin Whitecotton, 43, of Bloomburg, formerly of Dallas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, in Bloomburg.
He was born March 25, 1970, in Texarkana, to Suzanne Simmons Bishop and Glenn Whitecotton. He had a diverse and colorful work history, ranging from horticulture sales with Hines Nurseries and Nortex Wholesale, to web site design and photography. He was a contemporary artist, with over 700 pieces in his collection, which were donated to be displayed at Baylor Hospital and other organizations. He was an employee of the Texas State Forest Service and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Doddridge, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edwin D. Simmons Jr. and Adella Green; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Lena Mae Whitecotton; and a cousin, Daren Simmons.
