Easter Bunny slates visit to ASP March 30

 

The Easter Bunny reports he plans to hide 3,000 eggs for children who come to Atlanta State Park Saturday.
The park’s fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt begins promptly at 2 p.m., with three hunting areas set up according to ages: 0 to 4 years old; 5 to 8 years old; and 9 to 12 years old. GSMC Auxiliary helps patients smile

 

Good Shepherd Medical Center-Linden Auxiliary is in “need” of volunteers. They are a group of volunteers who work 3-1/2 hours a week, just one day a week in the gift shop. 
There is no age restriction, only a desire to volunteer is needed. Junior volunteers are also encouraged to participate during the summer months. ACS Relay For Life celebrates 10 years

 

Cass County Relay For Life will celebrate 10 years since the first event was held in Queen City on the last Friday in March 2003.

Cass County 4–H expansion membership drive underway

 

ass County 4-H needs for adult volunteers and youth members to develop clubs into each city in Cass County. 
County Extension Agent John Ferguson has launched a membership drive in Linden, which he hopes to extend into other communities. He has previously proposed partnerships with Cass County school districts, and to adopt various 4-H Enrichment Curriculum provided through the Texas Extension Service.
