B&P Club elevate women in business

Business and Professional Women’s Club of Linden was formed 25 years ago to support local women in their businesses and professions.

Wagon-loads of fun at Cass County Park

Thanks to a fine turnout from the community and volunteers for Cass County Park’s first-ever “Frontier Days,” visitors will soon see more improvements to the former Moore’s Landing lake recreational area.
The Friends of Cass County Park hosted “Frontier Days” on March 9 and the fundraiser was deemed a great success by the group’s president, Kay Morehead of Bloomburg. The one-day event, which featured a chuck wagon lunch and gospel singing, netted about $700. Candy, prizes and fun awaits those who attend the annual VFW Easter Egg Hunt in Linden.

The Texas Forest Trail Region has launched its “We Pine For East Texas” photo competition for amateur photographers.
