The Linden Lions Club has a long-standing reputation for being one of the city’s most active organizations.  
The Linden Lions Follies is known far and wide as one of the best local talent/variety shows short of the big cities. Low cholesterol cooking made easy

Low cholesterol cooking classes made easy will start in April at the Mary Daughtey Senior Citizen Center, 507 S. Kaufman St., Linden. 
 Anyone interested in learning how to cook healthier recipes is encouraged to attend.

LYAA promotes sports for area youth

 

The Linden Youth Athletic Association is celebrating its 30th year of association with Dixie Youth Baseball. For all those years, LYAA has provided a safe and structured venue for the youth of the Linden community to play baseball and softball.

Applications accepted for annual scholarship

 

The Cypress Valley A&M Club is currently accepting scholarship applications to be awarded for the 2013-14 school year.
A $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually by the Cypress Valley A&M Club – $500 in the fall and $500 in the spring – to a deserving student from this area. The divorce rate in the U. S. continues to fall, but a large percentage of couples still call it quits despite their vows of “for better or worse.”
