Linden-Kildare FFA Fun Night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 in the Ag Building. This event is sponsored by L-K Agriculture Science Department and the L-K Ag Boosters Club. Hamburgers, homemade ice cream and games will be provided.

Time to divide the daylilies

September is the time of the year for dividing your daylilies.  You will need to split up your daylily clumps every 3-5 years in order for your daylilies to continue to bloom vigorously.  Make sure you plant the divided clumps at least one month to 6 weeks before the first frost in order for the daylily fans to get accustomed to the new soil. (Here in Northeast Texas, we will plant from the first of September until around the 15-20th of October before the first frost hits in mid November.)

Schindler, Adams to exchange vows

Club meeting held Sept. 9 at Pleasant Hill School

The Pleasant Hill School was the site of the Business and Professional Women’s club meeting on Sept. 9. 
In July we participated in the working woman’s luncheon. The ladies commented on how much they enjoyed being one of the sponsors along with The Cass County Sun, Linden Area Chamber of Commerce and other civic groups. Many of the working ladies in Linden attended.
