Lions clip Tigers 4-1

By Tim Emmons
Linden-Kildare hit the road for a district match up with the New Boston Lions on Friday, March 22, but couldn’t overcome a strong pitching performance of New Boston’s Wes Teague.
L-K plated one run in the top of the first inning, but gave up two runs in the bottom frame to fall behind by one run.
New Boston scored two more runs in the third frame, and kept the Tigers from scoring again in the contest.
Clayton Jaynes struck out 11 batters he faced but L-K’s offense couldn’t get anything going against New Boston.
