QC defeats Hornets 8-4

Queen City continued to dominate district opponents with an 8-4 victory over the Hooks Lady Hornets on Friday, April 12.

Dragons defeat L-K

Linden-Kildare took a hard 19-4 district loss to Redwater on Tuesday, April 9.

Atlanta’s Earp earns regional bid

Atlanta freshman Randy Earp will be competing at the UIL Regional Tennis Tournament 
on Wednesday, April 17, and Thursday, April 18, in Rockwall.
Earp qualified for regionals after placing second in boys’ singles at the District Tennis Tournament held at the campuses of Pleasant Grove and Liberty-Eylau.

Queen City continued their winning ways after defeating Linden-Kildare 12-2 on Friday, April 5.
The Bulldogs rolled out to a 5-2 lead after three innings and then added seven more runs over the next three to put the game on ice.

MUMS track teams win district

Queen City’s middle school girls have had great success in every sport played this season, and both the 7th and 8th grade Lady Bulldogs earned district track titles Thursday, April 4, at Paul Pewitt High School.
