QC ’Dawgs slip against Redwater Dragons

Queen City wrapped up second place in district a few games back, but took a hard 6-5 loss to Redwater on Friday, April 19, as the Dragons nailed down third place with the upset of the Bulldogs.

L-K girls qualify for regionals

Linden-Kildare participated in the Area track meet held at Tatum High School on Friday, April 19, and a few of the ladies qualified for regionals.

Rabbs survive rally, beat North Lamar

Atlanta scored nine runs in just four innings and survived an exasperated comeback attempt by North Lamar in the Rabbs’ 9-8 victory on Tuesday, April 16.

Golfers compete at regional event

L-K’s boys’ golf team and Allyson Lee representing the girls’ team competed at the regional golf tourney on Monday, April 15, and Tuesday, April 16.
After one day of golf the Tigers were in seventh place overall with a grand total of 365. On day two the boys shot a 358, but failed to qualify for the state round.

Jaynes K’s 15, Tigers edge Hornets

Clayton Jaynes pitched a three hit ball game with 15 strikeouts and Linden-Kildare scored an insurance run in the top of the seventh inning against Hooks to secure a 4-2 win over the Hornets on Saturday, April 20.

McLeod recorded a come-from-behind win over Maud after scoring twice in the final inning to give the Lady Longhorns an 11-10 district victory on Friday, April 19.
