Bohuslav commits to Crowder College

Branden Bohuslav, a senior at Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas, has committed to play baseball at Crowder Community College in Neosho, Missouri.

Junior high Tigers’ place fourth

Linden-Kildare’s Lady Tigers’ junior high track team placed fourth overall in district. 
The 4x100m relay team placed first, the 4x200m team placed first and the 4x400m team placed third.

NB Lions beat Tigers 15-5

Linden-Kildare got off to a fast start against New Boston, but couldn’t hold the Lions from scoring 11 runs in four innings in a 15-5 league loss on Wednesday, April 17.

TPWD adopts changes to Mule Deer MLDP, Pronghorn Seasons

AUSTIN — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission has approved an experimental pronghorn buck season in some areas of the Panhandle, which would allow landowners to control the harvest of buck pronghorn on their properties. 
In addition, an extension to the existing mule deer managed lands deer permits (MLDP) season will be part of changes to the upcoming 2013-14 Statewide Hunting Proclamation.

Ibarra sets another record

Bulldogs swat Hornets 16-2

The last time Queen City and Hooks met QC won by a margin of 1-0, but Jay Hawley had 12 K’s to keep the Hornets at bay.
