The Atlanta Lady Rabbs’ met up with longstanding county rival Linden-Kildare on Tuesday, Sept. 3. L-K was looking to avenge a loss to Atlanta earlier this season in tournament play.
Atlanta set the tone of the game early on as they raced out to a 12-4 lead behind the strong and consistent serving of sophomore Jada Washington.
The Lady Rabbs never looked back and took set one 25-16.
Atlanta’s front line continued to dominate at the net as the offensive attack by seniors Dani Birmingham, Lauren Rutland, Jasmine Rowe and Lakia James became unstoppable in a 25-13 route in set two.
