Bloomburg Homecoming 2013

Nominees named for title of homecoming king, queen
Bloomburg ISD has named candidates for Homecoming King and Queen. 
The king and queen will be announced during homecoming ceremonies held prior to the Saturday, Oct. 26, game against Campbell. The game begins at noon.

Rabbits’ freshman thump PG 20-8

Tigers fall to Waskom Wildcats, 56-24

Linden-Kildare traveled to Waskom this past Friday night to take on the Wildcats in district action.  
The Tigers were able to put points on the board in each quarter but the Wildcats’ rushing attack would prove too much for L-K as Waskom walked off with a 56-24 victory.  
L-K received the opening kickoff and was able to pick up a first down right off the bat with their rushing game.

L-K Preview: Hughes Springs

This Friday evening the Linden-Kildare Tigers will be back in action at home against the Hughes Springs Mustangs.

Rabbs play hard, Paris pulls away late

Atlanta celebrated Homecoming last Friday and a new king and queen were selected to take the throne for another year.
Andrew Allday and Sharedan Birmingham were named official Atlanta royalty, and then the Rabbits opened up district play against the Paris Wildcats.
The Rabbs never got into an offensive groove and fell 41-20 to Paris before a large crowd adorned in maroon and white.
Paris won the coin toss but deferred to the second half giving the ball to Atlanta first.

Lady Tigers scrap against Mustangs, beat Lions

Linden-Kildare battled two district teams last week and came out 1-1 after both matches.
On Oct. 8 of last week the Tigers battled district frontrunner Hughes Springs on the road and played the Lady Mustangs down to the wire.

Bulldogs make big plays, top Prairiland 26-7

The Queen City Bulldogs made their longest road trip of the regular season this past Friday as they headed west to take on the Prairiland Patriots.  
The Bulldogs were coming off a big win against the Hooks Hornets and were looking to get a win and control their playoff destiny.

Atlanta faces PG Friday

Atlanta will make their first district road visit to Pleasant Grove this Friday night, and have a great chance to pick up win number one in district play.
