Linden-Kildare traveled to Elysian Fields this past Friday night to open up district play after coming off of a bye week, but couldn’t stop the Yellowjackets’ balanced attack and fell 28-6.
The Tigers were able to improve upon last year’s meeting by holding Elysian Fields to 28 points compared to last year’s 46 but could not come away with a win.
This game started similar to the Tigers’ previous contest against the Queen City Bulldogs.   Read more in our e-edition:  http://www.etypeservices.com/SWF/LocalUser/Casscounty1//Magazine35828/Full/index.aspx?id=35828

Tigers one of eight schools in District 9-2A

By Tim Emmons
Before last season the UIL realigned districts throughout the state in different classifications.
Linden-Kildare will once again play seven district games but Head Coach Todd Elliott has high expectations for his team in a tough district.
“We have a proud tradition here at Linden-Kildare, and we take that very seriously,” Elliott remarked. “We will take one game at a time and execute our plays like we are playing in a playoff type atmosphere.”  Read more in our e-edition:  http://www.etypeservices.com/SWF/LocalUser/Casscounty1//Magazine35294/Full/index.aspx?id=35294
