L-K preview: Tigers at Elysian Fields

Linden-Kildare will be back in action again Friday, Sept. 27, against the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets.

Lady Tigers outlast New Boston in heated match

Linden-Kildare picked up their first district win of the season after beating the New Boston Lady Lions in a fifth and decisive set last Tuesday.

Hunter education class set Sept. 23-25 at L-K High School

A complete course in hunter education has been scheduled for three nights in September at Linden-Kildare High School.
The class will be held from 6 - 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 23, 24 and 25 at the C.J. Hagler/Squire Cole Agriculture Science Building at Linden-Kildare High School.

Atlanta completes comeback, defeats Center 23-16

It is said that the true test of one’s character is how they fight through adversity, and Atlanta did just that in a 23-16 comeback win against the Center Roughriders last Friday night.
Atlanta fell behind early in the first quarter when Center drove down the field and put up three points and then gave the ball right back to the Roughriders when Damien Lawson fumbled the ensuing kickoff.

‘Cass County Clash’ ends with QC win

Queen City welcomed county rival Linden-Kildare to Smith-Wall Stadium last Friday night for the rivalry game dubbed the “Cass County Clash”.
The game was run quickly for both teams and the end result was a 21-6 victory for the Bulldogs over a scrappy Tigers team.

Rabbs to face Gladewater

After a 23-16 come from behind victory last Friday night in Atlanta’s home opener, the Rabbits (2-1, 0-0) will go back on the road this week to face the Gladewater Bears (1-2, 0-0).
