Linden-Kildare’s eighth grade team battled county rival Hughes Springs recently, but fell to the Mustangs 44-12.
L-K scored their first touchdown in the first quarter when Marty Johnson passed to Jakevian Rose for the score.
That score was set up after Johnson had hit Traccer Henry on a pass for a long gain.
The Tigers scored again as time expired in the game when Johnson hit Dalton Alford with a pass and he broke four tackles on his way to the end zone.
