Lady Tigers steamroll Redwater

Your Lie Just Croaked
Two Tarrant County game wardens were checking a field on opening day when they found two men sitting around a stock tank with shotguns and a moving dove decoy set out. The father-son duo was contacted by the wardens and it was discovered that the father, who was from out-of-state, did not have a hunting license. The father told the wardens that he was not hunting dove, and that the shotgun and empty hulls by his seat were from shooting at bullfrogs. Fishing tournament a success despite auction rainout

Rainy weather didn’t detour fishermen and participants from taking part in the fourth annual Jacob Dude Turner Team Catfish Tournament and fish fry held Sept. 28. The Rocky Point camp ground was overflowing with visitors who took part in the three day event held on Wright Patman Lake.

Linden-Kildare’s varsity girls’ cross country program recently placed second in district. The girls are placed in the order they finished the race beginning with the bottom row from (L to R) Alyssa Cummings (5th), Haylee Smoak (6th) and Amberley Cummings (10th). Linden-Kildare rips Pewitt, Daingerfield; remain in playoff picture

Linden-Kildare kept their playoff hopes alive after dominating Paul Pewitt and Daingerfield last week.
On Oct. 22, L-K celebrated Senior Night and welcomed Pewitt in to the “Tiger’s Cage” for a district showdown.

Atlanta crushes North Lamar, 55-28, seals playoff spot

Atlanta nailed down a playoff spot last Friday night with a convincing 55-28 stomping of North Lamar.

Linden-Kildare Tigers start slow, fall to New Diana

The Linden-Kildare Tigers were in New Diana this past Friday to take on the Eagles.  
L-K managed to put some points on the board but due to a slow start was not able to stage enough of a comeback and fell to the Eagles 41-13.
