By Bobby Horn Jr.
Special to the Sun

A change of venue did not change the Linden-Kildare Tigers’ (0-3) fortunes, as they dropped a non-district matchup to Pleasant Grove (2-1) last Friday, Sept. 12, 41-8.
Going into the game, Tigers’ Coach Todd Elliott predicted a very physical game and that is what they got as the Hawks’ defense shut the Tigers out for three quarters of play.
Taking the opening kickoff, the Tigers began their drive on the 20-yard line following J.J. Darty’s 12-yard return.  Read more in our e-edition:  http://www.etypeservices.com/SWF/LocalUser/Casscounty1//Magazine64044/Full/index.aspx?id=64044

Queen City struggled on offense throughout the game, failing to put together a scoring drive.  The Dragons controlled the ball for most of the game with a methodically slow offensive pace.
