USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service is unveiling its revamped Teachers and Students webpage, home to a wealth of scholastic resources for youngsters and teachers. Atlanta High School has another new administrator in Assistant Principal Michael Johnson. He joins Principal Nancy Rinehart in her first year at the helm of Atlanta High School and says he is here to stay.
Frank and Debra Washington joyfully announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Diane Washington, to Jeremy Glen Rhyne, son of Donald and Debbie Rhyne of Linden.
The wedding will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Linden. All friends and family are welcome. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
The Kildare Garden Group began in April of 1998. Instead of a survey, there was a drive around the homes in Kildare, viewing their yards and gardens. About 12 calls were made to people who were believed might like a garden group based on the maintenance of their yards.
