Cast votes now in pumpkin contest

By Angela Guillory
Residents are encouraged to come out and exercise their right to vote by casting their ballots or dollars in the First Annual Linden Lions Club Pumpkin Carving contest.
Local Lindenites will judge each entry fairly and impartially by purchasing $1 tickets to place in the can located in front of each pumpkin. One dollar equals one vote; $10 equals 10 votes. All the voting proceeds will benefit the Lions’ charities.
Also each ticket will enter the voter for a chance to win a $250 gift certificate for Ivan Smith Furniture. Votes can vote as often as they like. Read more in our e-edition:  http://www.etypeservices.com/SWF/LocalUser/Casscounty1//Magazine37902/Full/index.aspx?id=37902
