Larry B. Wicks, 72, of Atlanta, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, in a Texarkana hospital surrounded by family.
He was born October 9, 1941, in Olla, La., to Howard and Gertrude Wicks. He was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He loved hunting, fishing and small engine repair.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Holt Wicks of Atlanta; a son, Stephen Wicks and wife Cherise of Atlanta; a daughter, Amy Tolleson and husband Ben of Queen City; a sister, Dwen Raney of McLeod; three grandchildren, Michael Wicks, Hannah Wicks and Drew Tolleson; and a number of other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
