Doubleheader ends as Cass County Bank Rebels rout Indians

The Texarkana Indians got the bitter end of a doubleheader against the Cass County Bank Rebels losing both games 12-6, 10-0 respectively.
The Rebels pounced out to an early 1-0 lead in game one, but found themselves down 2-1 after the Indians plated two runs in the bottom of the second inning. All-Stars coast to title, moving on to State tourney

The Linden 10U All-Stars battled their way through the District Tournament undefeated. 
The team from Linden won all five of their games, defeating the New Boston All-Stars 15-2, the Hughes Springs All-Stars 6-4, the Hooks All-Stars 7-3, a great re-match with New Boston 2-0 and a 7-0 victory over Hughes Springs in the Championship game.

Ibarra breaks mark in Nationals

Recent Atlanta graduate, Chris Ibarra, ran his last race wearing the “maroon and white” in which so many runners around the country saw flash by them in many instances.
Chris finished third in the 800m run at the New Balance National in Greensboro, N.C., with a stellar and personal best time of 1:49.8; almost a second better than his previous best of 1:50:30 at Arcadia, Calif. L-K Tiger’s to hold baseball camp June 18

Linden-Kildare’s head baseball coach John Roberts, the L-K baseball staff and former players will join up and hold a baseball camp from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, June 18, and Wednesday, June 19, at Jim Grubbs Field on the campus of Mae Luster Stephens Jr. High School.
