AMS football teams sweep Pittsburg

Atlanta’s eighth grade A team hammered Pittsburg, 36-16, last week to tally a mark in the W column in the opening of district play. Alijuah Drayton started the scoring with a 12-yard reception from Jackson Warren.
The Rabbs had a big night running the football as well, which gave them a 20-16 lead at the half. The offensive line consisting of Justin Mitchell, Derek Martin, Jagger Dyer, Tate Mitchell, Justin Lance and TE Trey Adams did a nice job opening up some running lanes.
After a big kick return from Pittsburg, the Rabbs controlled the rest of the second half. Daimion Collins scored a 6-yard touchdown on the ground. Tyler Fedrick also had a big night, rushing for two 30-yard touchdown runs. Tyrell King added an 18-yard scoring run. Collin Morris and Keyshawn Easter both caught two-point conversions from Collins.
