The First United Methodist Church Day School raised funds for St. Jude’s for the 19th consecutive year.
On April 15, students of the school raced their tricycles and bicycles for St. Jude’s after raising a grand total of $7,357. Money from this fundraiser goes towards helping children being treated for life-threatening diseases at St. Jude’s.
“The support of our Day School families will pay for seven days of chemotherapy for an infant at St. Jude,” FUMC Day School Director Kim Prewitt said. “We are humbled at the goodness of our Lord and the giving spirits of our families.”
