Remembering Foster Skating Rink

School days will soon be over for the year. Final days are exciting for the students. Today’s students have different outlooks than the ones of the 50’s as I remember. 
The excitement was planning a school trip to Daingerfield State Park or Foster’s Skating Rink out from Linden on Hwy 130. The skates were rented and the music was loud.
