By Austin Lewter
The votes were canvassed and made official Tuesday night and the Atlanta ISD Board of Trustees welcomed two new faces and swore in two incumbents after the May 11 election.
Four seats were up for grabs in the at-large contest.
Board vice-president Randall Thomason canvassed the totals affirming the re-appointment of incumbents Joel Steger and Joe Wall as well as the introduction of Peggy Harrison and Charlotte Stanley in regular session Tuesday night at the AISD administration building.
After the oaths were administered, the board convened into executive session briefly to reorganize positions therein.  http://www.etypeservices.com/SWF/LocalUser/Atlanta1//Magazine27961/Full/index.aspx?id=27961
