City OKs big changes in trash service

By Austin Lewter
The Atlanta City Council voted to make a big change in city trash service as well as purchase police tazers and make improvements to McNoble Harper Park Monday night in regular session.
Their first meeting in May came to order at 6 p.m. At City Hall.
All five aldermen and Mayor Keith Crow were present.
After a brief comment in public forum concerning street signs on Odom and Thompson Streets, which City Manager David Cockrell promised to address, the consent agenda was approved unanimously.
