Shriners’ Day in Atlanta

Atlanta Mayor Keith Crow (right) recently named May 3 and 4 ‘Atlanta Shriners Day,’ whereby area Shriners will take to the streets accepting donationst to benefit the 22 Shriner’s Hospitals around the United States. The first Shriners Hospital was established in Shreveport in 1922 to treat children affected by the Polio virus.
