Board votes to approve bid for audit

The Cass County Appraisal District board approved a bid proposal submitted by Moore and Caver Inc. for the 2013 financial audit for the year ending Dec. 31, 2013.
Chief Appraiser LeAnn Lee said, during the meeting on April 9, she received two bid proposals. The other was from Arnold, Walker, Arnold & Co., P.C. for $4,100 with a stipulation that if additional time is necessary, it will be discussed and a new estimate given before incurring additional cost.
