Beware of scams

Don’t be fooled. If someone calls claiming you owe them money it may be a scam unless, of course, you aren’t paying your bills, then that is another story. 
Linden Police Department officers have received more than half a dozen reports over the past two months from residents who have received calls from con artists trying to scam them out of money.
