J.K. Hileman Elementary School thanks community business partners

Local businesses are always ready and willing to help our local schools where they can, when they can.
In recent years the foyer just inside the elementary school is laced with a theme such as a safari which entailed lots of greenery and figures riding in a golf cart.
This year Flint’s Furniture discounted the school and a nice waiting area was constructed.
Roman’s Pizza has always welcomed large groups of kids such as the Champion Bulldogs for the first nine weeks and recently Ivan Smith donated a refrigerator to the school to go in their teacher’s lounge.
“It is a huge advantage in having community partnerships such as these. We are proud to call each of these businesses our friends in education,” J.K.H. Principal David Estes said. “Because of contributions or discounts provided by these companies, we are able to better serve our students.”
“We would like to thank Ivan Smith Furniture, Flint’s Furniture, Roman’s Pizza, Queen City Floral, and Amigo Juan’s Restaurant for helping us help our students,” Estes said. “Each of these hometown businesses has helped our school by giving discounts, donations, and tons of support. The staff and students at J.K. Hileman Elementary want you to know that we appreciate you.”
