From Staff Reports
The intersection of Highway 59 and FM 3129 is a lot busier now with the completion of the new Love’s Travel Stop.
The 10,000 square-foot travel plaza opened Nov. 17. Love’s officials say the business, which caters to both truck drivers and travelers, adds approximately 60 jobs to the area.
“We’ve been in Texas for many years but it’s always exciting to provide more parking spaces, food options and amenities for customers,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s. “We’re happy to be in Domino and look forward to serving customers with the clean places, friendly faces Love’s is known for.”
The 24/7 facility’s numerous amenities including three fast-food options: Subway, Chester’s Chicken and Godfather’s Pizza, 14 fuel pumps for travelers and 10 additional diesel pumps for the truck drivers as well as showers and 106 truck parking spaces.
The Domino’s location is the 59th Love’s to open in Texas. The Oklahoma City-based company is currently ranked No. 14 on the Forbes list of America’s largest private companies.
According to the company’s press release, Love’s will celebrate the new store with a ribbon cutting in the coming weeks.
As part of the grand opening festivities, Love’s will donate $2,000 to the Atlanta Independent School District.
