Carpenter Ministries is looking for volunteers for its 19th Annual People Who Care Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Nov. 24.
The dinner is held at the Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church, located at 207 Allday St. in Atlanta.
According to Carpenter Ministries spokesperson Pam Clayton, volunteers can help by serving meals and/or deliver meals; donating prepared ready to serve food including turkey or ham, side dishes or desserts; contributing financially; helping with cleanup and mingling and fellowship with those who to come to center for a meal.
“We need prepared meals ready to serve,” Clayton said. “If we run low of anything, it’s usually turkey and dressing, but we always have something to fill in.”
All financial donations are tax deductible  and checks can be made to: Carpenter Ministries, Inc., PO Box 43, Atlanta, TX  75551.
Volunteers are free to come as they have time to serve, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Meals will be served and delivered from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There is no charge for the meal and anyone is welcome.
