TxDot announces signal repair

BOWIE COUNTY-- Travelers on U.S. 59 heading toward Texarkana this weekend may notice a small delay.
The Texas Department of Transportation will have crews repairing traffic signals at South Lake Drive (US 59) at I-369/Loop 151 Frontage Roads
A wreck early May 13 knocked down a signal light at South Lake Drive and the southbound frontage road of I-369/Loop 151. The signal lights at both frontage roads intersections are flashing red, creating an all-way stop for vehicles.
Due to the extent of the damages and types of repairs needed, the signals will likely remain in the flashing mode until repairs can be completed. This could be one to two weeks. Motorists using these intersections are urged to use caution as drivers become use to the temporary traffic control conditions.
