Plans underway for annual Easter Egg Hunt

LINDEN—Plans are underway for the Cindy Henderson Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Linden.
The hunt will be held at the Linden City Park on School Lane, next to the RV park and playground, starting at 10 a.m.
A number of special events have been scheduled in conjunction with this year’s hunt.
At 10 a.m. there will be an Egg Toss for contestants 11 years and older, with a cash prize being awarded. The Easter Bunny and L.K.’s own Tory The Tiger mascot will arrive at 11:15 a.m.
An Easter Bonnet Contest followed by a parade will be held at 11:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded in the bonnet for age groups: 0-10 years, 11-17 years and 18 and up.
At 12 p.m. the hunt begins, with more than 2,000 eggs available for the grabbing. Egg Hunt age groups are: 0-3 (parents may assist), 4-7 and 8-10 years.
Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be sold at the concession stand.

Fundraiser planned
To help raise money for the event a Spaghetti Dinner/ Meatball Sandwich luncheon will be held at the Linden VFW Post #6968 on March  4, starting at 11 a.m.

Dine-in or take-out available. Delivery also available for three or more dinners.
