Local officers honor Dep. Goforth

Officers from all local law enforcement departments lined Loop 59 this morning in Atlanta to pay their respects to Deputy Darren Goforth, the suburban Houston police officer who was ambushed at a gas station was shot 15 times Aug. 30. Gov. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered Texas flags in Harris County and at the Capitol to be lowered to half-staff to honor Goforth.
