Endsleys make way from Georgia, into Bloomburg

This is the last of three columns I will write (for now!) about William F. Endsley’s trip to Texas from Georgia in 1866. William was almost 8 years old when he journeyed west with his parents, William Pickney and Mary Urquhart Endsley, early settlers of Bloomburg and Miller County, Ark. Gary Endsley of Atlanta recently shared with me his great-great-uncle’s biography, written in 1939-40, and I can’t thank him enough! It’s a fabulous story!
