Escapee apprehended Saturday, boxers and all

Cort Rabon Buzbee was apprehended Saturday after a manhunt that lasted nearly six hours. Buzbee was wanted on two felony warrants out of Oklahoma. He now has another felony charge for felony escape out of Cass County. The assailant was still in the boxers and handcuffs he was wearing when he fled on foot.
According to Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe, the sheriff’s office had received a tip that Buzbee was staying at a location in Red Hill. Deputies Powell and Lewis went to the location to serve the two felony warrants for possession of methamphetamines and grand theft auto.
Buzbee bailed out a window and fled on foot. He was quickly apprehended and cuffed and subsequently put in the deputies’ patrol unit.
While Powell and Lewis questioned a female who had been staying at the location with Buzbee, the detainee managed to get his window down about halfway and somehow bailed out his second window of the day, landing on his head. He, once again, fled on foot, wearing only his boxers and the handcuffs that deputies had fitted him with at the time of his arrest...
