Early voting ends Friday, Oct. 31

The polls are open and Cass County voters are taking advantage of the opportunity to vote early. As the polls closed Friday for the first week of early voting
presiding judge Barney Tate reported 899 voters had cast their ballots. There are 19,307 eligible voters in Cass County.
The polls will close at 5 p.m. Friday for early voting. The General Election will take place Tuesday, Nov. 4. Polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
Cass County Clerk Jannis Mitchell would like to remind voters to make sure they go all the way through to the end of the ballot before casting. This is especially important for voters in Linden, Queen City and Precinct 2 who have different ballots from the rest of the county. Items on the ballot that pertain to voters who reside in those areas will be listed at the end of the ballot. If you do not see your city elec-
