County votes to raise sheriff, constable fees

Cass County commissioners approved a new county extension agent for Cass County during Sept. 8 court session.
Brian Whatley will start on Nov. 1 as the new Cass County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources. He will be training in Bowie County for 30-days prior to his start date in Cass County.
Whatley will fill the vacancy left behind when Gene Bobo retired from the position more than a year ago.
