Deadline approaches for voter registration

As the Nov. 4, General Election approaches, Cass County Tax Assessor-Collector and Voter Registrar Becky Watson, would like to remind potential voters the last day to register to vote is Oct. 6, 2014. If a change of residence is required, the voter must notify the Voter Registrar by Oct. 6, 2014.
Voter registration applications may be picked up at the Cass County Tax Office in Linden, Hughes Springs City Hall and the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce Office. Adults must be 17 years and 10 months of age or older to register to vote.
When voting, citizens must present some form of photo ID.
