Tickets are now available for the 2014 East Texas Music Awards (ETX). The red carpet event will include corporate sponsorships, VIP and general admission.
Sponsors say, “It is not about the lights, or the massive attention. We are gearing up to show the talent of East Texas to the world.” Press from multiple states will be at hand for the ETX Music Awards live event Friday, Sept. 19, at the Kiepersol Winery inside the K.E. Bushman Celebration Center in Bullard.
If you voted online, you can enter promo code ETXVIP to receive a discount, when you purchase your tickets online in advance.
Several local artist were in the final round of voting Julia Beers, female vocalist; Chip Bricker, keyboards; Mike Petty, guitar; Frank Prior, Producer of the Year; David Tyson, drums; Paul Tyson, bass; Captain Joe, Country Band of the Year; Wes Jeans, Blues Band of the Year; Cullen Baker Band, Rock Band of the Year.
ETX Music was founded in 2010, by Nathan Hunnicutt, a musician who wanted to share local music. He earned an MBA from Harding University and is now an independent marketing consultant and real estate coach. He divides his time between East Texas and West Tennessee, where he is working to expand the reach of music originating in East Texas.
