The Linden-Kildare Tigers (0-2) were unable to overcome a 10-point fourth quarter deficit last Friday night, Sept. 5, losing to the visiting Ore City Rebels (2-0) 30-28.
The Tigers drew first blood less than four minutes into the game when Curt Wells (6-for-12, 150 yards; 3 TDs, 1 interception), found Reid Bynum from 15 yards out for the touchdown.
A failed 2-point conversion left the score at 6-0 with 8:10 remaining in the first. It was Bynum’s only offensive catch of the night.
