County proposes 2 percent increase in taxes

Cass County Commissioners took a record vote on Thursday for the 2015 proposed tax rate. The proposed tax rate is .553062 per $100 value for 2015. An increase of .02 from last year’s .534241 adopted 2014 property tax rate. The effective tax rate is .533062. The rollback tax rate is .572701.
