Elijah Tindall bringing shock factor to ‘Another Level’
You may think tattoos and Christianity don’t mix or that anyone who looks like a rocker could influence young people in a positive direction, but Elijah Tindall could be the guy to prove you wrong.
His story leads from Dallas to the gang-infested streets of Los Angeles, Calif., to a tent hot enough to remind a person of a certain place down under and eventually to radio, youth ministry, the comedy stage and even network television. And for a few dates this summer, Tindall’s story will lead him here to Queen City.
Tindall is the guest speaker at The Next Level summer camp, which begins Monday at Christian Fellowship. Tindall will share/perform Father’s Day morning, Sunday, June 15 at Christian Fellowship Church (CFC) and the following two Mondays, June 16 and June 23 at the same location during The Next Level youth camp.
All three services are open to anyone who would like to attend. There is no charge for any of those three services or the evening services during the two weeks of camp.
Tindall never imagined where he would end up and what he would be doing.
Growing up the son of a Vietnam soldier, his family moved around a few times after his dad was drafted to fight in the Vietnam Conflict. He lived in Little Rock, Ark., with his parents and summers in L.A.
