L-K’s Franks receives highest award from state comptroller

Applying for the first time in district history, Janice Franks, business manager at Linden-Kildare Consolidated Independent School District, received a comptroller’s highest award.
The Platinum Leadership Circle designation is the comptroller’s newest and highest honor for financial transparency. The platinum distinction requires governmental entities go above and beyond providing financial transparency.
An entity applying for the Platinum Leadership Circle must post detailed summary information on its website. General standards include posting check registers, budgets and local government contact information online.
