MUMS students travel to Caddo for hands-on learning experience

Morris Upchurch Middle School traveled to Caddo Lake State Park in May for a hands-on learning experience.
In the fall of 2013, Morris Upchurch Middle School teachers Becky Russell and Celeste Dellinger applied and received a grant from the International Paper Foundation for more than $2,700 which allowed teachers and students to travel to Caddo Lake State Park for a day of outdoor environmental learning that cannot take place in a traditional classroom setting.
